Applications
The DK-125 Density Determination Kit is suitable for determining the density of:
- Solid materials
- Plastics and polymers
- Metals and alloys
- Ceramic materials
- Glass
- Rubber and other manufactured materials
- Laboratory and research samples
Working Principle
The density of a solid sample is determined by measuring its weight in air and its apparent weight when immersed in a liquid. The difference in these measurements represents the buoyant force, which can be used to calculate the sample’s volume and density.
